Krav Maga is not a traditional martial art. No katas. No rituals. Based on simple principles and instinctive movements, this reality-based system is designed to teach real self defense in the shortest possible time. Learn to defend against common chokes, grabs, and bear hugs, as well as weapons such as guns, knives and sticks. These are many of the same strategies that police officers use when in a threatening situation.

All Champions Krav Maga instructors are trained and certified under the guidance of Master Moshe Katz from Israel, the head instructor and founder of Israeli Krav International Organization.
Each instructor has been thoroughly trained in Krav Maga. All of our instructors are trained in the latest teaching techniques and are updating their skills continually with a combined 100 years of experience.
We have 3 instructors who have earned their Black Belts in Authentic Israeli Krav Maga, this is very rare, Krav Maga can take anywhere from 7 to 15 years to achieve Black Belt level.

Any. If you are in poor shape or great shape, you can start our Krav Maga program at Champions Martial Arts. You will see a improvement in you cardio and strength at all fitness levels.
We would always recommend to consult with your doctor before training. Many of our students have old injuries and they work around them, If you have a knee issue then just don’t kick with that leg, go at you own pace. Self-defense training is not all about fitness. You will need to adapt the techniques to your abilities.
Learning self-defense is not violent. Our team of instructors are experts in teaching self-defense and they are also trained in teaching safely. Many times you will practice with a partner and review techniques slowly until you master them, before practicing at a faster pace. As in any sport, there is always a risk of injury, We make sure students are practicing safely at all times, with the appropriate safety gear.
Our classes are a good mix of fun and serious. There are times in class when focus and concentration is important to work on your techniques. We also have times when we are having some fun with different drills.
